What Do You Want, Man?

What if this were a real, grown-up, professional website?  Like, what if you came here once a week or so to get the latest news -- err, the latest news? More like the most recent nonsense. -- what would you want to see?  Categories?  More frequent posts?  Less frequent posts?  Dancing girls and boys?

Obviously, this site isn't ever going to carry the up-to-the-minute dispatch of plastic plates or chemical concoctions for parties, but if you could make it the most useful it could ever be, what would this site include?  (For me, the anonymous typist of this post, the answer would be categories like recipes, crafts, gift ideas, etc., but what do I know?  I might also dig some video and download-able templates, recipe cards, etc.)

Anywho, put your thoughts in the comments.  The Frugal Hostess wants this shizz-nit to be all it can be, so, you know, your input is invaluable.  Love ya.

The Frugal Hostess is not joining the Army in May.  Because, God bless the soldiers here, there, and everywhere, all our wars are BS wars lacking morality.  Please comment. 1. I would like to see workable, affordable budgets with menus for dinner parties.

    Thanks, Susan!

  2. I would like it to stay just the same because it makes me laugh every time.

  3. I'd like party themes (dinner and cocktail) and menus that are Awesome & NOT lame. Think: theme with easy recipes, cocktails, and workable decor while considering my lack of time and budget.
    Love,
    Megan

  4. Posts more often, I need to laugh! Especially when our country has so many BS wars going on. Enough death, suffering, etc without our causing it, and we cause enough accidentally without also doing it on purpose. I like the posts also about making do with what we have, our country could use a lot more of that.

  5. Summertime is coming (unless, of course, it doesn't actually stop snowing) and that means roadstrips, vacations, family reunions and lots of days exploring with the children.

Last summer we (just me and the kids the man was working) hit the road in our deluxe minivan with a cooler. We quickly grew tired of ham and turkey sandwiches with carrots, apples and grapes. Our soy milk supply vanished around Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Don't even try to find healthier fares at the Mountain Version of Panama City Beach. Soy Milk? What's that?

I would like great ideas for eating while on a Roadtrip. We don't want to eat at a bunch of fastfood places because 1. it's unhealthy 2. it's expensive 3. it's much more relaxing/memory making to stop at new parks and places and picnic. Our problems last summer 1. same thing every day 2. hotels usually only have fridge and microwave 3. finding healthier foods in unfamiliar places.

And this is where you Frugal Hostess or Frugal Goddess of the Universe can help! Thanks so much Darlin!
